Meet our Professional, Year-Round Staff Team
Ray Zetye, Executive Director
2012 marks Ray's 23rd year at Camp Jewell. Ray holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Management from Springfield College. Ray resides at camp with his wife Julia, a Veterinary Technician and ARIA certified riding instructor, along with their dog Sully, 3 cats, 3 goats, rabbit and 3 horses. Julia serves as camp’s Equestrian Coordinator during summer camp.

Katie Jilek, Outdoor Center Director
Katie has several years of teambuilding and outdoor education experience in both New York and Connecticut. Katie holds Bachelor Degrees in Biology and Environmental Studies from St. Lawrence University and a Master's Degree from Springfield College. She enjoys kayaking, skiing, playing golf and spending time with friends and her adorable dog, Porter.

Craig Dawson, Summer Camp Director
Craig is the newest arrival at Camp Jewell and he is excited to become part of the Jewell family. Originally from England, he grew up not far from Sherwood Forest where he spent his childhood running through the woods pretending to be Robin Hood!! Craig has worked for YMCA Camps in both New York and Wisconsin in various roles from counselor to summer camp director, most recently directing operations for both YMCA Camps Matawa and Minikani. He has two boys who are excited to be Jewell campers and his goal is to ensure that everyone who attends camp has an amazing experience.

Jodi Gove, Ranch Camp Director & International Staff Coordinator
Jodi has been working with the YMCA since 2003 where she met and married Peter who also works at Camp Jewell. She graduated from Bethel University with Bachelor degrees in Political Science and Business. During the summer she oversees all aspects of Ranch Camp. During the fall and spring she oversees all horseback riding activities while over the winter she is responsible for our draft horse program. During her free time she likes hiking, horseback riding, and reading.

Pat Rosin, Assistant Outdoor Center Director & Summer Day Camp Director
A Connecticut native, Pat has worked for the YMCA for over 10 years. Pat graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. He is now residing at Camp Jewell with his wife Bethany, son Eli and their dog Skiva.

Rosetta Okohson-Reb, Assistant Outdoor Center Director & Summer Teen Program Director
Originally from St. Louis, Rosetta has spent the last three summers working with the Leaders- In-Training program here at Camp Jewell. She is a recent graduate from Texas A&M, with a Masters in Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her dogs, Caution & Deuce, and shopping for her growing shoe collection.

Kathie Reese, Office Manager
Kathie has been the Office Manager at Camp Jewell since June of 1983. She lives in Winsted with her two sons, Brian and D.J. Kathie’s favorite pastime is being camp Grandmother to Max and Kyle Barton, Abigail and Emma Tucker and Peter Kamin, who now lives in Eastsound, Washington.

Marilyn Ducor, Registrar
Marilyn has been our Registrar since 2005 and truly enjoys working with our camper parents. She graduated from the University of Connecticut and before she came to Camp Jewell, she and her husband, Rick, operated their own hardware store in Farmington for 20 years. Happily married for 28 years, they reside in New Hartford with their rescue kitty, Sabrina, who they adopted through Ray’s wife, Julia. Marilyn and Rick enjoy salt water fishing, organic gardening, and an occasional round of golf.

Dale Kuntzman, Property Manager
Dale has spent much of his facilities career at YMCA Camp Y-Noah out of the Akron YMCA in Ohio. He brings a great amount of experience and energy with him. Dale has a great understanding of the integral relationship between the program and facilities teams at camp. He also comes with a proven track record of organizing large numbers of volunteers to get things done at camp.

Lisa Coyne, Dining Services Director
Lisa has worked at Camp Jewell for over 11 years; before that she owned her own restaurant in Southfield, Mass for 7 years. Her favorite dish to cook is chocolate mousse cake. All of Lisa's children have been campers and staff here at Camp Jewell. She is looking forward to her grandson, Chase becoming a day camper soon!
